Who sends these messages

Social Scene LLC, an events company in Chicago, Illinois. We run a referral program for our own events. The program is operated on EventShare, our referral platform at dynamiceventsuite.com. Questions go to connect@besocialscene.com.

What you are opting in to

If you give us a mobile number and tick the separate consent box beside it, we may text you about your own referral link. That means the link itself, how many sales your link has made, and a reminder before a payout window closes. Nothing else.

We do not send advertisements, product offers, or messages asking you to buy anything through this program.

Where you opt in, and what the checkbox says

You opt in on a referral share page, for example this one. The mobile number field is optional and sits below the required email field. Beside it is a separate checkbox, unchecked by default, visible when the page loads, reading:

A mobile number submitted without that box ticked is discarded by our server and is never stored as a consented number. Consent is never bundled with a purchase and is never required: the referral link is delivered by email whether or not you opt in to texts.

Message frequency, cost and keywords

Roughly 4 messages per event.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier sets those, not us.
Reply STOP at any time to stop. It takes effect immediately and we send nothing further.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How we use mobile information

We use your mobile number only to send the messages described above, and we store a timestamp of your consent alongside it so we can show when and how permission was given.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Age

Our events are 21 and over and admission is subject to photo identification at the door. Do not opt in to these messages if you are under 21.
